Here is a rare rooted tooth fossil of a Mosasaurus. This specimen is 100% natural with no artificial tampering at all (except for cleaning), which is quite uncommon for fossils originating from Morocco. The tooth is in near pristine shape with only minimal wear and the occasional crack.

This is a stunning specimen, and would make a worthy collection piece or a unique gift.

Mosasaurus is an extinct genus of carnivorous aquatic lizards that lived during the late Cretaceous period. They were dispersed throughout Europe, North America and northern Africa and were among the largest of the Mosasaurids. Experts believe they lived near the surface of the ocean and their diet included fish, ammonites, turtles, plesiosaurs and even smaller Mosasaurs. For more information, click here.
